Sam Smith currently spends his time at Forum for the Future, trying to figure out cunning strategies to shift our food and farming systems to be radically more sustainable. He works mostly with businesses on this challenge. His other interests include the built environment, energy transition, co-operatives and the deep adaptation agenda. In previous adventures, Sam managed a successful community farm on the edges of London, worked for a renewable energy start-up in Kenya, and spent a number of years with sustainability charity, Bioregional. He is also a Director at the Farm Carbon Cutting Toolkit. After hours, Sam enjoys DJing, playing the fiddle and adventures in wild places.
